This was a question posed recently that I've been asked many times over the years. I want to thank Linda V for asking it yet again. When I first started reading, many years ago, participating in circles and trotting off every weekend to set up my little card table at psychic fairs across the country, I couldn't have answered this question with any kind of knowledge, experience, or conviction. But now decades and thousands of readings later, I believe I can approach this question with a lot more experience and understanding. The Spirit World is Highly IntelligentThe spirit world is highly intelligent and possesses an uncanny ability to blend with the mind of the medium. They are also able to move energetically close to loved ones, in an effort to make their presence known. Now, don't go ‘Hollywood’ on me! I'm not talking about frightening hauntings or cold spots in the corner near the window, or weird unexplained noises that go bump in the night. If you are entertained by those sort of things, well that's nice, however we are discussing evidential information from controlled communication using mental mediumship. This type of information can be verified and tied back to sound reason and our perception of reality on earth. This information would therefore be clear and beneficial for expanding our knowledge of the Spirit’s continuity of life on the other side. The Answer Lies in Our Reality versus Their Reality“Do they miss us” is such a simple question. But the answer lies in understanding the nature of each Spirit’s realities and constructs. All of us are really spirits constrained by the elements of our human existence. From this earthly reality we most certainly do miss those we’ve lost with every physical, mental and emotional aspect of ourselves. Even with all my experience as a Medium, I am not immune to the devastation that comes with the loss of a loved-one. We long for just one more moment with them after their transition. But it is through my experience as a Medium that I’ve come to know our loved-one’s experience on the other side is more peaceful, warm, more fully formed and more embodied in love which in its essence eliminates the anguish of missing us. They are spirits and thus they are part and parcel of a power much greater than our understanding. They are not blocked by walls, slowed by sickness, confused by tears. Now they can blend with the mind of the medium and even their loved ones in soul to soul communication to allow us a higher perception. They Show Their Love in Their Presence and Communication They now have the ability to serve you anytime they wish. It is in their presence and their effort to communicate through the medium that they show their love, their understanding and their concern for our struggles and our pain of missing them every day. I could write a book about this question but to answer briefly, I would simply say – No, they don’t miss us. At least not in the way we miss them. Yes fond memories, those times of laughter and tears, certainly remain with them. Not one of those life’s experiences, good or bad, was wasted. Instead they served to ready them to unfold into the heart of love, the arms of God, the collective power of the Spirit World. Now, they are too busy loving you closely with the healing power of a new appreciation for the reasons for their existence. So you and I may miss them, heart and soul. But our Spirit knows the truth of their continued life. All of this will be revealed to you, too one day. But not yet. For now we can be with them in prayer anytime we want if we remain mindful of their continued love for us from their spiritual place in the arms of love. Peace Joe© 2019-2020 Joseph P.
