"I believe in and put my faith in the Holy Spirit and I consider all of my readings to be a prayer joined in by myself, by you and by spirit. I promise that I will do my very best to honor you and your loved-one's holiness while I use my gifts to the best of my ability to help in any and every way possible." Joseph Shiel
Preparing for Your Reading
Overall it is a simple process for you and I really hope to make your reading as wonderful an experience for you as I possibly can. So consider it to be entertaining and relax and have fun, be light and receptive to a loving and truly caring energy. During Your Reading:
Information is imparted to me in several ways and is often received as a physical sensation or an emotional feeling rather than just spoken words. Because I utilize all of my senses during a reading, which are acutely aware of feeling and sensing information, at times you may notice changes in my demeanor, expression or in the tone of my voice.
I will not ask probing questions during your reading. Rather I will pause occasionally to ask only if you understand or identify with the information. I require only a yes or no answer and you do not have to elaborate unless you feel it would be helpful to your experience. The sound of your voice vibration, however is important to my maintaining a strong and positive connection. Names given may be first, middle or last names of a discarnate spirit or, depending on how I am receiving them, I may be receiving greetings or references to living persons related to the spirit. I am usually able to differentiate. Disjointed information may occur at times but usually becomes clear overall. Questions:
In order to provide adequate time for specific personal concerns, it is helpful to come prepared with any questions you might want to ask and if time permits I will give you an opportunity to ask one or two questions at the completion of your reading.
Recordings:
You are welcome to bring an audio recording device of your own if you would like to record your reading however because it is not always possible for me to recapture information later on in a reading I would also recommend taking notes of names, dates and other information throughout your reading in order to remember details. The quality of your recording, if you choose to record, is not guaranteed.
