Materials List
To support your journey you’ll want to gather a few simple art supplies—but please don’t feel boxed in by the list below. If there’s a medium you already love working with, trust your instincts and bring it along!

The goal is expression, not perfection. And if you can’t find exactly what’s suggested, let your imagination lead the way. 

Here’s what I recommend as a starting point:
  • A basic watercolor paint set and a few watercolor pencils – or any medium that feels natural and inspiring to you
  • A watercolor pad, around 11 x 17 in size (or as close as you can find—this isn’t about being exact)
  • A gum eraser (also called a kneaded eraser)—perfect for gentle corrections and softening lines
  • And if you wish, a graphite pencil for sketching—entirely optional, but some like having it for the early stages

There are no hard and fast rules here!  Let your materials feel like an extension of your intuition.
