You do not need to be an artist. You don’t need formal training or even confidence in drawing. What you DO need is a strong foundation in mediumship and a willingness to explore a new way of receiving and sharing Spirit. You’ll be fully supported with step-by-step guidance and practical resources to help you learn the basic elements of portrait drawing — eyes, shapes, expressions — just enough to allow Spirit to impress upon the page. This is not about making perfect art. It’s about capturing Essence. While some prior drawing experience may be helpful, you do not need to be an artist to begin. Many of our students have started with nothing more than stick figures—and through devotion, guidance, and trust in the process, they’ve grown into creating heartfelt, recognizable essence portraits of loved ones in Spirit.
Throughout the program, you’ll receive gentle, step-by-step instruction in the basics of drawing facial features. These skills will help you build a foundation for your Spirit Portraiture work. And while drawing is part of the journey, it is your intention, connection, and willingness to practice that will carry you forward.
You’ll be lovingly encouraged to devote time outside of class to practice, allowing the mechanics of portrait drawing to become more familiar—so that, in time, your hand becomes a natural extension of Spirit’s whisper.

Every session will be recorded and uploaded to our online learning platform, so that you can watch (or rewatch!) at your own pace. You'll have access to the recordings and all of the supporting resources for a full year, giving you plenty of time to revisit the material whenever it works best for you.
