As we move into the Advanced stages of our development, we are well beyond the rudimentary understandings and now have an expanded awareness of the full nature of the work and a growing appreciation for how our sincere efforts and talents are enabling profound healing, closure and spiritual growth for those seeking connection with loved ones.
As we become more proficient in our abilities we must now learn to move more Fluidly, Quickly and Confidently in our mediumship.

Advanced Mediumship

Moving into Advanced Mediumship, we see that our journey is not about arriving at a final destination.  Rather it is an ongoing journey of growth, self-discovery & using our gifts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

We are constantly striving to improve and reach for more in our abilities, willing to try new things, refine our skills and evolve our practice.

We have a deepening connection and trust with the spirit world and see spirit as friends and allies, not just as sources of information.

We see our mediumship as ”Ministry” dedicated to healing and upliftment and the creation of a shared “Language of the Heart” that transcends cultural, religious, and linguistic barriers. 

We also have a new and deep appreciation for the irreplaceable role that mediumship plays in the universe, bridging the seen and unseen worlds in a way that can profoundly transform individuals and society as a whole.

​Joe's method of teaching is to present material Inspiredly so that relevant content can be uniquely & creatively introduced in a way that allows information to flow and unfold organically to meet the individual needs of the class.

His approach aims to foster self-discovery, ethical development and a collaborative learning environment with the goal of empowering students to become skilled, compassionate, and authentic mediums.
COLLABORATIVE LEARNING:  Joe encourages students to participate actively, ask questions and learn from each other's unique perspectives and experiences.​​

ETHICAL GROUNDING:  Joe places a strong emphasis on developing a solid ethical foundation, including boundaries, integrity, and a humble reverence for the work, as essential components of effective and responsible mediumship​​​

INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH: Joe recognizes that students have different learning styles, backgrounds, and comfort levels.  He emphasizes the importance of each student finding their own authentic way of practicing mediumship

CONTINUOUS GROWTH MINDSET: Joe stresses the importance of approaching Mediumship as a lifelong journey of learning and self-discovery, rather than a fixed set of skills to master.  ​
PRACTICAL APPLICATION:  While covering theoretical concepts, Joe also emphasizes the importance of hands-on practice and real-world application of mediumship techniques through exercise and break-out sessions​

COMPASSIONATE GUIDANCE:  Joe models and encourages qualities like patience, empathy and understanding, especially when working with fellow students and clients who are dealing with grief, trauma, or difficult life experiences

This program is thoughtfully created for those who have already journeyed through the foundational and intermediate stages of mediumship—or working mediums who feel called to take their gifts even deeper.
​✨  If you've attended the Beginner’s Psychic & Mediumship and Intermediate Mediumship programs, or if you're already offering this work professionally and feel ready to grow further, you’re in the right place.​

✨ At this level, we’re expected to have a solid understanding of psychic and mediumistic energy, and the ability to sense and distinguish between the two.

✨ We come with experience in evidential mediumship—able to link with Spirit consistently and receive information that can be clearly validated by the sitter.

✨  We also bring with us a working knowledge of the aura, chakras, colors, symbols, and the clair senses, as well as some comfort navigating altered states of awareness.

✨ ​ And whether in one-on-one sessions or in the public space, we have the skills to hold space for meaningful, well-rounded spirit communication.

If you’re not able to attend the live Zoom classes, that’s absolutely okay—we’ve got you covered! All of the sessions will be recorded and uploaded to our Joseph Shiel Arts Institute school site, so you’ll be able to watch (or rewatch!) at your own pace, anytime you like, for up to 1 full year.
