I Know Some Angels
I
know there are some angels.
I've seen some here and there;
holding other's burdens...
sharing, caring, things they
couldn't bear.
I know there are some angels.
Not winged, like picture books;
But plain ... simple ... tall
... and short ...
Plain folk ... straight talk
... peaceful looks ...
I know there are some angels.
A handful, even more.
The keep appearing in my life
... in my heart,
somehow unlocking the doors.
I'm Sure! there are true angels!
I know now they don't work alone.
Strangers maybe, family, friends,
But their heart calls heaven
their home.
It's True! There are some angels!
I'm so grateful that they're
real;
They took my stale and hollowed
heart,
And made it full and feel.

You are My Garden
You
are the blossoms of early
spring
Flowers and fragrance and bright
colors you bring
You are the garden, you are the
gate
Nourishing seeds of love as you
patiently wait
You take the heat and soak up
the rising sun
Spreading the warmth of gentleness
to everyone
You are the garden you are the
earth
The giver of life the angel of
birth
You harbor the young at every
fall
Covering them with warm colored
blankets at every call
You are the garden, you are the
rock
The timeless spirit the soul
of hawk.
You brave long winters and swallow
the frost
Protecting life's beauty at every
cost
You are the garden you are the
fine fence
Abounding love and poised in
strength
You provide through the seasons
the highest breath of truth
Overcoming every storm with the
sweet love of youth
You are the garden love like
no other
Illuminated by God and sent as
mother
